The South Luzon Tax Talks, a webinar series hosted by the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCCI), provided valuable updates, tips, and reminders on tax filing.
One of the key speakers, Atty. Phoebe Kim Beluang-Aldeza, Senior Associate at BDB Law, shared essential pre-filing tax tips. She discussed common usual assessment suspects in income tax returns as well as important reminders for filing the annual ITR. She was also joined by Atty. Michael H. Macatangay, Regional Director of RR No. 98 - LaQueMar BIR and other BIR officials; Ms. May C. Gimeno and Ms. Aileen Grace Parra.
The session concluded with a dynamic Q&A segment, where the speakers addressed common tax concerns, clarified filing procedures, and offered practical advice for businesses and individuals. The discussion was moderated by Mr. John Paulo D. Garcia, Senior Manager for Tax Advisory & Compliance at P&A Grant Thornton.
