As part of the celebration of the birthday of our Chairman, 𝐀𝐭𝐭𝐲. 𝐁𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐜𝐭𝐚 𝐃𝐮-𝐁𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐝𝐚𝐝, the 𝐁𝐃𝐁 𝐋𝐚𝐰 𝐅𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 marked another milestone last Friday, September 5, 2025, with two successive events.

First was the signing of a 𝐌𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐮𝐦 𝐨𝐟 𝐀𝐠𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐓𝐢𝐩𝐨 𝐄𝐥𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥 𝐢𝐧 𝐇𝐞𝐫𝐦𝐨𝐬𝐚, 𝐁𝐚𝐭𝐚𝐚𝐧, establishing a new partnership with DepEd under its Build-a-School Program. Present during the signing were: Mr. Alvin D. David, School Principal III; Ms. Arlene S. Carlos, Public Schools District Supervisor; Dr. Carolina S. Violeta, EdD, CESO V, Schools Division Superintendent; Hon. Anne Lorraine C. Adorable-Inton, Municipal Mayor; Ms. Rosalie P. Medina, SPTA President; Mr. Elvin Iglesia, SGC President; and Hon. Judy T. Ramon, Barangay Captain of Tipo.

This was followed by a 𝐠𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐛𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐜𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐲 to begin the construction of a new school building and community clinic to be donated by the Foundation. Construction is expected to take four months, with turnover scheduled for January 2026.

Despite the heavy rains and suspension of classes, there was full attendance from multi-sectoral groups composed of DepEd regional officials, local government officials, barangay officials, parents associations, teachers and students to express support for the event.

Selected students showcased their talents through ballroom and tango dances, warmly welcoming the Foundation and guests.

This project is in line with the Foundation’s mission to uplift the quality of education and provide greater access to healthcare.
