The 22nd MAP International CEO Conference 2024 took place at the Grand Hyatt Manila on September 10, 2024. Atty. Benedicta "Dick" Du-Baladad, Founding Partner and CEO of Du-Baladad and Associates and MAP Governor and Immediate Past President, moderated the first session, featuring Mr. Ricardo Isla, President and CEO of AirAsia Philippines.
Mr. Isla discussed AirAsia's strategies for catering to different customer generations, highlighting their response to pandemic trends with increased flights to Boracay and targeted promotions. He also addressed the use of Artificial Intelligence in AirAsia’s customer service and pilot training, emphasizing efficiency and safety. In terms of environmental efforts, Mr. Isla mentioned fuel-saving practices, such as single-engine landings, to reduce emissions.
