At the Global Corporate Governance 24-Hour Conference, hosted by the Global Network of Director Institutes, Atty. Moderated by Dr. Roger Barker, Director of Policy and Corporate Governance at the Institute of Directors UK, the panel discussed "Navigating Global Governance Challenges: Insights from Around the World"


The session provided valuable insights into key governance issues, such as the board's role in advancing sustainability and climate action and embracing AI and technological advancements. The panel further explored the importance of director training and meaningful board evaluations in fostering better governance practices.


Atty. Baladad highlighted that "corporate governance and public governance are inherently intertwined," stressing that true progress in corporate governance requires elevating compliance and accountability across business, private, and public sectors.
